The 1979 model year is an interesting and unique transitional year for the Ironhead Sportster, known for its redesigned frame and the iconic factory-installed “siamese” exhaust system.

- Engine: 1,000 cc Ironhead V-Twin (electric start)

- Condition: This is not a flawless showpiece or trailer queen, but an honest, nicely patinated classic with character. Overall, the bike presents well, starts easily, and runs great.

New battery and spark plugs. Known issues: front brake not working, battery mounted “temporarily,” missing lens on the left rear turn signal.

Clear museum registration documents and Finnish registration. This means low-cost museum insurance and guarantees that the bike hasn’t been ruined by amateur modifications or cutting/grinding.
